Training & Team Development

I facilitate Positive Psychology informed training and team development experiences for organizations in the form of presentations, workshops and retreats designed to: boost organizational effectiveness, revitalize team dynamics, enhance workplace culture and improve employee well-being.

Philosophy

Research on thriving organizations and high performing teams has consistently revealed that employees' well-being and overall satisfaction with their work environment (i.e. job duties, supervisor, co-workers and broader organizational culture) are significantly correlated with employee motivation, performance and retention.  Adhering to this research, I believe improving organizational effectiveness begins with an investment in the most important resource of any organization: its human capital.  The training and team development experiences I strive to create leverage Positive Psychology derived practices for improving employee well-being and engagement, that ultimately, enable flourishing teams and organizations.

“Outside of the fact that David is one of the most competent and inspiring young professionals I have worked with, he is also one of the most genuinely positive, creative and truly engaging people I have known in my life. David prides himself on getting to know someone beyond the surface. His ability to build rapport with those above and below his position is second to none. He makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome, while bringing a sense of energy to any meeting no matter the topic. I can honestly say that without David in the Career & Leadership Development Center for the past two years, our programs would not be as successful as they are today. When David is committed to a project, person or circumstance, he is in it 110% - which made him a true dream to work with everyday. I would recommend anyone, in any industry, to bring David on to be a part of any team. He is the real deal!”
